DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
The property has been in the family since the 1840’s so keeping the original 2 story timber frame built house was very important to the customer. We started with the demo of 500 sq ft & the existing timber framed garage.
The addition we added in its place was a 2 story 1100 sq ft. which consisted of moving the stairs from the remaining part of the house to the new addition. The new open stairs leads from the mudroom to 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms creating an open foyer
The large master bedroom has the original timber ceiling joist exposed; along with a wall, with the post & beam exposed. The master bathroom has a large tile shower with double vanities.
This cozy kitchen has fresh white Wellborn cabinetry with quarts tops. The eat-in kitchen area has views of the properties historic barns and the owners enjoy quiet evenings on the large front porch.
The gathering room has a newly added large picture window that overlooks the wooded lot.
