This original kitchen was built in the 1990’s with 30” cabinets hanging on 9’ walls. The 2’ soffit drops above the cabinets & full masonry fireplace over took the kitchen. We started with removing the masonry fireplace and the interior load bearing wall behind it, which divided the kitchen & dining room. Tile floors were removed and a new vinyl plank flooring was installed throughout the 1st floor. Wellborn Cabinetry color choice was Divinity with a Java glazing and Silver Typhon granite counter tops. The large island has sitting areas on two sides and was stained with Maple Suede. Upgraded Samsung black stainless appliances compliment the open Kitchen. The new structural beam was wrapped with fabricated white oak barn material which accents the white bead board ceiling tying the kitchen & dining rooms together. A small coffee niche was built in place of the old pantry closet to start your mornings!
